Sweet Pongal

Ingredients:

Rice-1 cup
Moond dal-1/2 cup
Water-4cup
Milk -3 cup
Cardamom pwdr-1tbsp
Jaggery-1 cup
Saffron-1 pinch
Pepper-1 pinch
Raisins-1tbsp
Cashewnuts,Almonds,Pista(roasted in ghee)-2tbsp
Few Coconut pieces(cut in small pieces)


Method:

Wash and boil rice and moong dal with 4 cups of water when the rice is almost cooked add milk and cook till rice is mashy.

Add sauted nuts and add jaggery,cardamom pwdr and cook till nice pudding consistency.Add pinch of pepper powder.

Add chopped coconut and saffron.
